Igniting potential beyond the game.

The Challenge: It’s been well documented that the lessons learned from sports create invaluable insights to instill in children as they grow up. However, the youth sports market continues to focus its innovation on high-income segments, leaving behind those children who arguably have the most to gain from the lessons of sports. Standing on the front lines with them are youth sports coaches. These adults are often volunteers with limited resources and training, finding themselves exhausted at the end of the day with little time or energy left to provide further instruction, advice, or encouragement.

Our Ambition: Harness the power of technology to bring together the personalization and empathy of a local coach with the scale, repeatability, and knowledge of a global community of care.

Our Concept: Netflix meets Udemy for Coaches - Curated content from credible experts that can act as an extension of a coach's voice, offering the ability to share with their players nuggets of wisdom to help inspire, improve, and grow.

Our Prototype: Initially we envision a youth coach would be able to search content aggregated from across trusted publicly available sources. In each piece of content experts would share advice or motivational words relevant to a variety of situations young athletes may be going through in their game or in life.
